Taibe Palacios

Taibe Palacios is a contemporary jewelry artist and designer based in Santiago, Chile. Trained in Design, she began her career as a children’s book author and illustrator before dedicating herself to jewelry. Since 2003, she has been creating unique pieces in her studio, exploring the boundary between jewelry and art object.

Taibe works with natural and sustainable materials, such as banana leaves and seaweed collected from the Chilean coast, transforming them using techniques she developed over years of experimentation. Her work emphasizes the organic form and movement of these elements, creating wearable sculptures that engage with nature and contemporary art. Some of her pieces are part of the permanent collection at the Espace Solidor Museum, and she has received numerous awards while exhibiting internationally.
